I've discovered that the more you are home the more mess you make and therefore the more housework you have! And seeing that I spend a bit of time at home these days I am thankful that Evie is learning to pull her weight... her chores to date are...
* Helping hang the washing out- this requires a steady approach of picking items out of the basket and passing them to me so that I do not need to bend- 9/10 (the occassional T-shirt gets taken into her cubby)
*Carrying items to the bin when Mum and Dad are feeling too exhausted to get off the couch again- 9/10- Evie is a reliable garbage collector and disposer, although still learning to distinguish between those items that are recyclable and those that aren't.
* Finding and delivering shoes of a morning... 10/10... Evie's shoe antics the previous evening hold her in perfect position to know where to locate all the shoes the following morning!

Just imagine all the time I will have on my hands once she masters the laundry and washing up!
